Nobody adds a Heliodon to their scene for fun. You do it because the light has to be right—the exact angle, the exact warmth for a specific time of day. That’s the level of control Artlantis is built for. It’s a dedicated visualization tool, not a modeler, and it shows in features like that Heliodon and the shader tools, which are focused squarely on making a finished frame look convincing.
Light and Texture a Scene
Drop in a DXF, DWG, or 3DS model and the real work begins. You set natural and artificial light sources, fine-tune perspective, and build materials using your own images or the built-in shaders. Every surface, object, and detail is adjustable until the scene stops looking like a wireframe and starts looking like a photograph.
Render Still Images and Animations
When the scene is dialed in, Artlantis handles high-quality still renders and animations. It’s a post-processing engine that connects to a CAD workflow—you’re not building geometry here, you’re bringing it to life for a presentation.
Export a VR Panorama
There’s a whole group of clients who need to look around, not just look at. The app creates QuickTime VR files and interactive panoramas, giving you a presentation format that feels more like a walkthrough than a slide deck. Artlantis Studio is the version built specifically for that kind of polished client delivery.
